In today’s fast-paced world, parents face increasing challenges in balancing their children's upbringing and education with their work obligations. With limited time and numerous responsibilities, many feel overwhelmed and yearn for a harmonious family life, hoping their children will develop autonomy, exhibit appropriate behavior, and take responsibility for their duties. Unfortunately, the reality often reveals that many children and adolescents show low frustration tolerance, get bored quickly, lack motivation to study and learn, struggle to complete homework independently, fail to resolve conflicts, and often display aggressive or violent behaviors. In summary, they demonstrate poor behavior and a lack of motivation to fulfill their responsibilities.

This situation has turned homes into chaotic environments filled with frequent arguments, constant fatigue, and persistent worry. Parental relationships also suffer as they are forced to attend school meetings due to their children's behavioral issues and academic struggles, often seeking additional help from various specialists.

This overall chaos and frustration can significantly affect parents' emotional well-being, work performance, and productivity.

Parents need straightforward, practical tools that can help them transform their circumstances—both in understanding the underlying issues and in applying effective solutions.

Our Proposal

We are pleased to offer a one-hour talk led by psychologist Sylvia Langford titled "Six Key Habits for Family Education."

With extensive experience in fostering the "will to act," Sylvia is the author of several influential books, including "Oops, I Raised a Spoiled Child," "Super Parents," "OHH NOO, another tantrum!!!," "Choosing Harmony: the Path to Balanced Living," and "Six Key Habits for Family Education."  She has also developed learning programs grounded in her methodology, which have shown results for children and adolescents in a short time frame.

Objective of the Talk:

To equip parents with strategies for educating their children, emphasizing the cultivation of positive habits rooted in values. This will help children and adolescents learn to self-regulate their emotions, enhance their skills, and improve their educational outcomes.
